These terms cover the games at dangercat.party, including CatMerge. By playing, you agree to them. They are written to be readable rather than impressive.
What this is
dangercat.party is a free collection of games. There is nothing to buy: no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, no virtual currency. Nothing in the games costs money, and there is nothing to refund.
Your account
Games create an anonymous account for you automatically, so your scores have somewhere to live. You are responsible for how you use it. Reserving a name that impersonates the game, its staff or another player is not allowed, and we may change or remove names that break this rule. You can delete your account at any time — see the privacy policy.
Playing fair
- Play the games as they are meant to be played. Don't automate them, don't submit scores you didn't play, and don't try to get around the score or name filters.
- Don't attack, overload or probe the service, and don't scrape it. It runs on a small server, for fun.
- Don't use the leaderboard to say anything — the name field is the only thing you can write there, and it is filtered for that reason.
Scores and leaderboards
Your cat name and best scores are shown publicly on the leaderboard. We may remove an entry, or reset a leaderboard, if it is broken or being abused. A score that looks impossible may be removed at our discretion.
Our stuff
The games, their art, code and names belong to dangercat.party. You may play them, share them and talk about them; you may not sell them or pretend they're yours.
Availability
The games are provided as they are, for free, with no promise that they will always be available or that any score will always survive. A game may change, pause or disappear.
Responsibility
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for anything that comes of playing — the games are a hobby project provided without warranty. Nothing here limits rights you have under the law where you live.
Ending things
You can stop at any time and delete your account. We may stop providing a game, or remove an account that breaks these terms.
Children
These games are for a general audience aged 13 and over. If you are under 13, please play something else — or ask a parent to play it with you, on their account.
Changes and law
If these terms change, the date at the top of this page changes with them. They are governed by the laws of Mexico, where we are based.
