Delete your account and data

Delete it yourself, in the game

It happens immediately and cannot be undone. When it's done you get a fresh anonymous account the next time you play.

• On the web: open catmerge.dangercat.party, tap your cat name at the top, then “Delete my account” and confirm.
• In the iOS or Android app: same place — tap your cat name, then “Delete my account”.

What gets deleted

• Your account and its identifier.
• Every score saved with it — in both Classic and Marathon, and anything migrated from older versions.
• Your email address, if you gave one, and any pending confirmation links.
• Your active sessions, so every device is signed out.

What is not deleted, and why

• Scores kept on your own device (the “This device” list, sound and theme settings) are not on our server and never were; they stay in your browser or app until you clear site data or reinstall.
• If you deleted the app but never linked an email, we cannot identify your account to delete it for you — an anonymous account has nothing on it that points back to you. Playing once more will create a new one.

If you can't use the in-app option, email us from the address linked to the account, or include your cat name if you never linked one, and we'll delete it for you.

Data we keep after deletion

Nothing identifying you. Server logs and backups are rotated on their own schedule, and a deleted account is not restored from them.
